Learning how to insert IV catheters is about more than just learning the procedure itself, it is also about learning successful and skillful techniques that minimize patient discomfort and complications, boosts the clinician's confidence, and increases 1st stick success rates.

IV access is what we do best, IV therapy and vascular access is our specialty area. Our IV insertion classes are well established programs. Taking our IV insertion class allows trainees to benefit from our expertise, and to learn IV team tips from practicing IV nurses. We have found that some other companies IV certification/ IV insertion classes are add-on classes that are added to beef up the company's class roster added to many unrelated classes.

We've successfully run our IV insertion classes since 2003. We have trained thousands of health care professionals in IV insertion.

Our director of education and lead instructor has a master degree in nursing education, and is dual board certified as a CRNI and VA-BC by the leading national professional organizations: the Vascular Access Certification Corporation (VACC), and the Infusion Nursing Certification Corporation (INCC). Our instructors work clinically as infusion and vascular access nurses with exceptional nursing experience in infusion nursing and vascular access. All of our IV insertion class instructors are recognized experts in this field.

Our education programs are designed for nurses, RNs and LPNs that practice in a setting that allows the nurse to insert peripheral IV catheters. Nursing continuing education (CE) credits/  nursing contact hours are granted for successful completion of our IV insertion classes. The CE credits are widely accepted by most U.S. state nursing boards.

The course nursing CE credits can't be awarded for credits towards professional license renewal for non-nurse clinical professionals.

Note: It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure that the course subject matter is within an attendee's clinical scope of practice prior to signing up for the program. All attendees are advised to ensure that attending this class is appropriate for their professional practice.
