Instuction in venipuncture and capillary blood sampling techniques, complications, proper sample handling, and prevention of test result errors. 5 1/2 contact hours offered until November 1, 2011.***

Our self study courses contain theory and provide assessment tools designed to be used with a preceptor for follow up clinical practice after the class.
For maximum benefit upon completion of a class, set up practice with a clinical preceptor to use skills as soon as possible. Our suggestions for clinical preceptors follow below. Ensure you always follow your employer's organizational policies and procedures prior to practicing any procedure.
